Located in Southern California—Ontario, specifically—the new distribution center will be the home base for approximately 20 percent of QVC's total U.S. business, with plans to store and ship all product categories.
The West Coast distribution center will reflect the efficient and safe design all QVC distribution centers are recognized for. At QVC, we empower all our employees to be engaged safety leaders who are committed to their own well-being and the well-being of their coworkers. We integrate this commitment to safety throughout the workplace environment and our entire operations. The center will also be a state-of-the-art, LEED-certified facility, and will utilize high-efficiency systems for lighting, heating and cooling and feature a 250 kW solar array on its rooftop.
As a team member at the new distribution center, your work will go a long way toward enhancing the customer experience. We look at each shipped product as an opportunity to build trust, loyalty and engagement. The work we do at these centers is critical to ensuring those interactions are positive.
We also make sure we're supporting your career growth, health, well-being and quality of life. We provide ample opportunities for advancement, and we have made an ongoing commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyle choices and work-life balance.
